Plates consisting of barbecue brisket, beans, potato salad, tea & dessert will be sold beginning at 11 a.m. Food can be eaten at the new community center or taken out. Cost is $6 per plate.
There will also be a raffle, with the grand prize being a quilt made by members of the community center.
Other prizes in the raffle include gift certificates from HEB, Campbell’s Drug Store, Zamzow’s Grocery & Deli, Three Rivers Farmer’s Coop and many others. There will be a live auction after dinner with many donated food items, homemade crafts, etc.
The raffle & auction will be around 1:00 p.m. Raffle & barbecue tickets are available from most community center members.
