GW UIL conquers in Calallen

On Saturday, Feb. 14, George West sent four students to Calallen and came home with one first place trophy, two second place trophies and a sixth place ribbon.

The first place trophy was awarded to Marcus Miller along with a second place trophy for accounting and a sixth place ribbon for number sense.

Kelsey Johnson won the other second place trophy for news writing. Wesley Iley and Joseph Moore were the other two students who went to Calallen to compete and also did an amazing job.
