The George West Lady Horns and the Goliad Lady Tigerettes faced off on Nov. 1 in Beeville for the Region IV Class 2A Area volleyball game. Both teams played well but ultimately George West defeated Goliad in three straight sets (27-25, 25-23, 25-23) to advance to the Regional Quarter Finals. The Lady Horns will play there next game against Marion on Nov. 6 at 7:30 p.m. at Pleasanton High School.
