Deadline for entries in the Live Oak County parade is Monday, March 23, at 5 p.m.

The parade is scheduled for 10 a.m., Friday, March 27 in Three Rivers. “Entrants in the parade will be called and given their position in the line of march in advance of the parade date,” Lloyd Grubbs, parade chairman said. “All entries should be in place in the staging area on School Road in front of the Three Rivers schools by 9 a.m. that morning if they wish to be judged,” he added.

Rosettes will be awarded for the best commercial and non-commercial entries. The Three Rivers and George West high school bands will be combined for the parade.

The parade will line up facing north on School Road in front of the Three Rivers ISD buildings. The band will congregate in the parking lot near the TRISD band hall. The line of march will be west on Thornton St. to Harborth (281) then turn right for one block and then go east on Alexander St. to School Rd. where the parade will disband. Traffic on US 281 will be routed around the parade for approximately one hour.

Entry forms are available at the front desk at City Hall or in the Three Rivers Chamber of Commerce office.

Entries may be faxed to the Three Rivers Chamber of Commerce at 786-4330, emailed to trchamber@threeriverstx.org or mailed to P.O. Box 1648, Three Rivers, TX 78071. They can also be taken to the Chamber offices at City Hall. Call 786-4330 for further information.
