Bulldogs win two: Dilley & Cotulla

Garrett Luthringer was the winning pitcher in the Bulldogs 9-4 win over the Dilley Wolves last Tuesday. The Bulldogs are 3-1 in dristrict play.

The Bulldogs beat the Dilley Wolves on Tuesday 9-4 and then traveled to Cotulla on Friday and came away with a 13-3 win.

The Bulldogs were led by complete games on the mound by Garret Luthringer (7 innings) and Ryan Saenz (6 innings).

The Bulldogs only surrendered nine hits in the two games while pounding out 22 of their own. The Bulldogs hit .393 for the week and were lead by the hot bats of Rico Rodriguez, Logan Muniz, John Morgan Ross and Joseph Rodriguez.

Ian Smith hit his first home run of his career against Dilley. The Bulldogs will take on Yorktown Tuesday night before facing Freer and George West. The Bulldogs are 5-9 on the season and 3-1 in District 31-AA.
