Mariana De Jesus Morin, 105, died on Sept. 15, 2008.

She was born in Palo Blanco on June 2, 1903 to Desiderio Cuevas and Refugia Juarez. She married Fabian Morin and was a homemaker. She was a member of the St. George Catholic Church in George West.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sons, Jacobo Mosqueda and Jose Sostenes Mosqueda and three daughters, Ramona Ybanez, Refugia Diaz and Olivia C. DeVaca.

She is survived by a daughter, Elia M. (Benny) Perez of George West; a son, Epifanio C. (Antonia) Morin of Kingman, Arizona; 36 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation and Rosary were held on Wednesday, Sept. 17. Funeral service was held on Thursday, Sept. 18 at St. George Catholic Church. Pallbearers were Joe Diaz, Daniel Diaz, Octavio Diaz, Jr., Victor Ybanez, Orlando Perez and Pablo Valadez.

Arrangements were made by Galloway and Sons Funeral Home.
