Willie Walter Frank Otto, 93, died Sunday, April 20, 2014, at a local nursing home in Three Rivers.

Mr. Otto was born Oct. 25, 1920, in Karnes County to Hugo Frank and Ella (Jonas) Otto. He was a heavy equipment operator for Live Oak County before his retiring. He married Betty Melton on Dec. 20, 1952.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Richard Otto; a sister, Louise Pullin; and sister-in-law, Mary Otto.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Betty Otto; a daughter-in-law, Sherri (Bubba) Nelson; and a brother-in-law, Leslie Pullin, all of Three Rivers; a brother, Hugo Otto of Victoria; one grandson, Kyle Otto; and one step-granddaughter, Peyton Nelson.

Visitation was held Tuesday, April 22, from 5 to 8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 o’clock that evening at Roberson Funeral Home in Three Rivers.

The funeral service will be conducted today (Wednesday) at 3 p.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Three Rivers with Pastor Norm Sulaica officiating service. Burial will follow at the Three Rivers Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Randy Kopplin, Warren Kopplin, Paul Ables, Vance Roberts, Bubba Nelson and Josh Blank.
