Edelmira Zuniga, 54, of Three Rivers, died Thursday, May 29, 2014, at a San Antonio hospital after a sudden illness.

Ms. Zuniga was born on June 29, 1959, to Hector and Maria Elida (Martinez) Flores in Mission. She was a housewife.

Survivors include her husband, Ramon Zuniga of Three Rivers; three sons, Ramon Zuniga Jr., Roland Zuniga and Thomas Zuniga, all of Three Rivers; a daughter, Elizabeth Zuniga (Olegario) Flores of Needville; parents, Hector and Maria Flores of Sullivan City; three brothers, Joel (Janie) Flores, Robert (Teresa) Flores and Daniel (Santos) Flores, all of Sullivan City; two sisters, Armandina Flores of Mathis and Debra (Alejandro) Chavez of Sullivan City; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held Sunday, June 1, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Roberson Funeral Home in Three Rivers. A rosary was recited there that evening at 6 o’clock.

The funeral service was conducted Monday, June 2, at 10 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Three Rivers with Father Ryszard Zielinski officiating. Burial will follow at the Three Rivers Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Three Rivers.
