“Easter Sunday will be on the first weekend in April making it necessary to move to another weekend,” Murrell Foster, executive director of the Three Rivers Chamber of Commerce, said. “We think the tenth will be a good choice because it will separate us by a couple of weeks from the Live Oak County Fair.”
The 10th anniversary festival, held on April 4, this year was the “most successful ever,” Foster said. “We had the biggest attendance, the most vendors and sold the most tickets used for merchandise at food and drink stand.” It was also the most expensive to produce costing more than $52,000. “The cost of everything is rising and we made the decision to keep our cost of booth space, etc, the same. We ran entertainment two hours longer than usual and that created the need for another band on Stage One.”
