Laurie Wieding brought her third grade Reading class group by group on May 21 for the 3rd Annual Library Visit to the Three Rivers Branch Library. Initiated by Wieding in 2007, the third grade TRISD students visit the local library and are introduced to the books available and those without library cards get a chance to receive their very own.

The program helps show the students that the library is available for reading outside of school during the summer. With an expansive collection of Easy and Young Adult books available at the Three Rivers branch library, most students found books they were interested in and with their library card were able to check out their book for the standard two weeks.
