Ray Point Community Center will host an Independence Day celebration on Saturday, July 4.

Games for everyone will begin at 4 p.m. There will be bingo (playing for prizes); a fishing pond, duck pond, and bouncer/jumper for the children; horseshoes; and washers. All of the above activities are free of charge.

Around 5 p.m., a meal will be served, consisting of barbecue beef, sausage and all the trimmings, including dessert. Cost for the meal is $7 per plate and food can be eaten at the community center or taken out.

The games and serving of the meal will last until 7:30 p.m. (or until food runs out). There will be a dance with music by Rick Maguglin from 8 - 11 p.m. Cost for the dance is a donation to the community center.

All of the indoor activities will take place in the new, air-conditioned building. Everyone is cordially invited to take part in this family fun day.
