The Live Oak Duplicate Bridge Club began about 1983 with Anne Hinton organizer and director. Thelma Harris was also a director. The first meeting place was the T&T Restaurant in George West. About 1986 the club began meeting in the Parish Hall of the Episcopal Church in George West. In 1996 the club began meeting in Three Rivers at the First State Bank party room. In 2005 the club began meeting at the George West Beaty Christian Center.

Leola Wilson was the first club manager, ordering supplies and sending in reports to ACBL. Roxana Tom is the present club manager

Attendance reached 6 ½ - 7 tables while in Three Rivers. Today the club has 3½ - 4 tables.
