After a full day of entertainment and activities, there is no better way to unwind than by attending the traditional Storyfest Street Dance. Our very own local up-and-coming singer-songwriter Kerrie Snider will open this year’s street dance at 8:15 p.m.

Kerrie’s music style can be categorized as Texas Music/Americana/Acoustic. She lists among her musical influences Corb Lund, Max Stalling, Ian Tyson, Jake Hooker, Ray Price, and more. Come out and listen to Kerrie Snider make her Storyfest stage debut.

Often called “The Best Deal in Country Music,” Five Card Draw is one of South Texas’ favorite dance bands. Energetic and accomplished, Five Card Draw plays contemporary country, country classics, and classic rock’n’roll. Scheduled to take the stage about 9 o’clock, Five Card Draw will make you want to turn that toe tappin’ into boot scootin’.

Gather up your friends and enjoy a night under the stars with great music. There is no admission charge to the dance — that’s right — free admission this year, so you have no excuse not to dance the night away! What a great way to end the 20th Anniversary Celebration of Storyfest.
