Leonard E. Rosebrock, 74, died on Dec. 10, 2009.

He was born in New Braunfels to Valeska (Zuehl) and Erwin Rosebrock in 1935. He entered the US Air Force and saw four years of active service as a radio operator. On Aug. 4, 1957, he married Alma Reinhard. Leonard worked for 20 years as an air traffic controller with the Federal Aviation Administration until he retired in 1974 and moved back to Zuehl to raise cattle. He and Alma enjoyed traveling, bowling and square dancing. He was a life member of the Germania and Bexar Bowling Clubs. Leonard was also a member of the American Legion—Missing Man Post 667, the National Association of Retired Federal Employees (NARFE), and the U.S.S. General W.A. Mann.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Alma; three sons, Mike with wife Terri, Lester, and Kevin; four granddaughters, Jennifer Hyatt with husband Cliff, Patricia Sheffield with husband Anthony, Sarah Rosebrock with fiancé Ryan Kenney, and Rebecca Rosebrook.

Visitation was held at Goetz Funeral Home in Seguin on Friday, Dec. 11th from 5-9 p.m. Funeral services were held at Redeemer United Church of Christ in Zuehl at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12th, with interment following at Redeemer Cemetery.
