Dora L. Moya, age 72, died at a local hospital after a battle with cancer.

She was born to Domingo Sotello and Jaquina Loza on Jan. 27, 1936 in Tilden. She was a housekeeper for many years at Roma Nursing Home, now the Three Rivers Nursing Home of Three Rivers.

She was preceded in death by her husband Mario Moya, Sr. and three brothers Lupe Sotello, Santiago Sotello and Frank Palacios.

Survivors include her companion George Crawford, Jr. of Three Rivers; two sons, Foxie (Elda) Moya of Three Rivers, Mario (Josie E.) Moya, Jr. of Three Rivers; three brothers, Ralph (Connie) Palacios, Max (Eva) Palacios, and David Palacios all of Three Rivers; two brothers, Ramona Chapa of George West, and Tomie Pena of Premont; nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held (today) Wednesday, Nov. 19, from 9 a.m.- 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at Roberson Funeral Home in Three Rivers.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, Nov. 20, at 10 a.m. at the Faith and Family Life Church in Three Rivers located behind the Dairy Queen.

Burial will be at the Hill Top Cemetery in Tilden.
