After a very successful opening of Phase 2 during Storyfest and much excitement by those who were able to view the progress thus far, the renovations committee of this project is ready to begin Phase 3.

During this phase the auditorium will be renovated and it will be ready for public performances of plays, concerts, recitals and other community events.

Of course funds are needed in order to complete Phase 3. Fortunately there is a way for every member of the community to be involved. The committee has an exciting campaign called “Be A Star”. You can buy a $100 seat for the auditorium and your name is engraved on a plaque in the foyer. For any organization or business that gives $1,000 or more, the name will be engraved on a “Special Stars” plaque. You can become a “Sidewalk Star” by giving $5,000. Your name will be in a star in the sidewalk in front of the theater.

If you haven’t visited the theater, call Mary Ann Pawlik or Virginia Horton. Either one will be delighted to show you the beautiful mural painted by our local artists, the lovely interior painted by volunteers and the newly constructed foyer which was overseen by the tireless efforts of Lamon Bennett.
