The Miss Live Oak County Pageant is a wonderful opportunity for the young ladies of our community to not only meet new girls and form lasting friendships, but to gain valuable experiences that they will carry with them into their adult lives. They learn how to interview, to speak in front of a large group and most importantly, they gain valuable self esteem.
The Miss Live Oak County Pageant Committee will hold an informational meeting for all those young ladies and their parent(s) interested in being a contestant in the 2009 Miss Live Oak County Pageant on Dec. 9, at 7 p.m. at the George West Dairy Queen meeting room. At that time, fees, awards and prizes will be explained as well as the rules of the Pageant.
For more information, feel free to contact Jamye Royal at 786-2950 or 449-5235 or Katie McCleery at 492-9414. The pageant committee hopes to see you there – after all, we know our community is filled with wonderful young ladies, now its time to show the rest of the world.
