The Warriors won the toss and deferred to the second half. The ‘Dogs moved the ball but not well enough to score. A pass completion from Luthringer to Luna appeared to make the first down on a 4th and 8 play but the official placed the ball just inches short of the first down. Santa Rosa took over ball possession but only ran 3 plays before having to punt.

On the first play of the series for the Bulldogs, Logan Muniz ran around the defensive end and then just raced by two Warriors the first 15 yards and then the following 32 yards Muniz ran all by himself into the end zone. The point after was no good as the Bulldogs led 6-0 with 4:31 left in the first quarter.

The Bulldogs next series was aided by a Jonathan Luna reception for 12 yards and one from Logan Muniz for 32 yards. Rodriguez pounded out a big gain on the ground for 18 yards. The Bulldogs scored with seconds left in the second quarter when Garrett Luthringer and John Morgan Ross connected on an 8 yard pass completion. Rodriguez pounded one out on the ground for 18 yards. The PAT was set back on a five yard penalty. The Bulldogs line up again for the extra point, but this time the play was for 2 and it was a go when Luthringer and Rico Rodriquez connected on the 8 yard pass. Bulldogs go in at half leading 14-0.

The Warriors possession to begin the 3rd quarter ended abruptly when Logan Muniz recovered a Santa Rosa fumble. The Bulldogs possession ended with a punt that put Santa Rosa on the Bulldog 10 yard line.

On the first play from scrimmage for the Warriors Kameron Harless caused a fumble. Fellow lineman Travis Escamilla saw the ball come free but before he could get to it, Javy Salazar had ran it in for the TD. Escamilla said, “Javy is fast. I saw the ball come loose and I went for it. Javy just scooped it up and was gone.” On the point after attempt John Morgan Ross took the snap on the PAT and ran it in instead. ‘Dogs go up 22-0.

The next series for the Warriors ended when Escamilla knocked down the 3rd and 8 pass. The Bulldogs next series lasted a minute and 35 seconds. Muniz and Rodriquez teamed up on running plays to get down to the Santa Rosa 17. On a reverse Trevor Wells went 13 yards before being drug down from behind on the four yard line. Rico Rodriquez took the ball in for the TD and Javy Salazar added the PAT. ‘Dogs lead 29-0.

Rico Rodriguez ended the next Warrior series when he knocked down a 3rd and 6 pass play attempt. Rodriguez, Muniz, and Salazar moved the ball down the field after the Warrior punt to get the ball down to the 20 yard line. Jeff Whitney scored the TD on a tough run through the middle. The PAT was to the left but the ‘Dogs were to go up 35-0.

The Warriors attempts to get on the board were squashed when Ian Smith and Trevor Wells ended the drive on a 4th and 1 from the ‘Dog 35. Santa Rosa had spent 4 minutes moving the ball only to have it end with less than 5 minutes left in the game. The Bulldogs had to punt on the next series.

The Warriors had two big plays that moved them to mid field. On the next play Logan Muniz intercepted the ball and the Bulldogs choose to kneel down to run out the clock.
