He was born to John Patrick and Josie Bell (Casey) McTighe in Three Rivers, on Feb. 27, 1933.
He was an independent gauger for the oilfield industry. He was retired and fishing was his hobby.
He was preceded in death by his father, one brother John Patrick McTighe, Jr. and one sister Nellie Belle McGriff.
Survivors include: spouse, Evelyn Williams of Three Rivers; children, Debra Kay (Cary) Federman of Victoria, Tina Marie (Michael) Temple of Chandler, Michael C. (Mary Jane) McTighe, Jr. of Three Rivers, Michael Bridges of Victoria, Claude (Barbi) Bridges of Victoria, Patsy Pennenton of Cuero, Wonda (Clinton) Meyer of Satillo; mother, Josie Belle McTighe of Three Rivers; sisters, Helen Marie (Russ) Sonnet of Angleton, Jean Ann Jones of Refugio, Susan Jane (Wesley) goldman of Three Rivers; brother, Louis Edman (Ann) McTighe of Houston; a large number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 9, from 3-9 p.m., at Roberson Funeral Home in Three Rivers.
Funeral service was on Wednesday, March 10, at 10 a.m. at Roberson Funeral Home.
