Sponsored by the Refugio Police Department the Safe Zone, Trick or Treat is set for Friday, Oct. 29, from 3:30-5 p.m. and will commence at the police department.

Participating businesses are Refugio Fire Department at the PD annex, Refugio City Hall, Woodforest Bank, Dr. Charles Watts office, Refugio Library, County Court House, Juvenile Probation, Wales Insurance, State Farm Insurance, Anderson Ag, Adult Daycare Center, Groundwater Conservation District office, Scanio, Teer Cox and Steele, San Antonio National Bank, Post Office, Parker Lumber, First National Bank of Woodsboro-Refugio branch.

Other participating merchants in other areas of town are H-E-B, O’Reilly’s Auto Parts, Maria’s Gypsy Ice, Refugio Memorial County Hospital, Refugio Manor, Mission Ridge Rehab and Nursing, Golden Chick, Wilkinson Cheverolet, Refugio County Press, Moya’s, L&L BBQ, La Rivera, McDonalds, Whataburger.
