He was born June 6, 1949, in LaMesa to Agapito and Christina Ochoa.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Beatrice Ochoa.
Survivors include his friend, Maria Alaniz of Refugio; three sons, Daniel Lee Ochoa, Ray Fierova and Daniel Castellano, all of Refugio; two sisters, Nene and husband Jorge Jaso of Refugio; Elva Moya and J.J. Andrade of Refugio; two brothers and their spouses, Fide and Sylvia Ochoa of Hutto; Alex and Eva Ochoa of Refugio; and one grandchild, Michael Fierova of Refugio.
A rosary was recited Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008, at 7 p.m. in Moore Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Mass was celebrated Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2008 at 10 a.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church, Woodsboro. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Robert Ochoa, Dean Ochoa, Ray Fierova, Ramsey Jaso, Matt Garza, Daniel Ochoa, Jorge Jaso and Fred Adams.
Honorary pallbearers are Robert Jaso and Kailyn Lucio.
