The writing portion of the contest took place prior to the meet at each respective school and was sent off to be graded. Forty-nine students from S-T Elementary competed in the other events, earning 31 medals, including 18 first place, six second place and seven third place medals. They also received 21 ribbons, which included six fourth place, 12 fifth place and three sixth place ribbons.
The students earned 534 points and brought home the first place trophy for the third year in a row.
