Christopher James Williams, 54, died Tuesday, Dec. 7. Chris worked a a mechanic at Wilkerson Chevrolet in Refugio.

He was a 1984 graduate of Karnes City, where he was very active in football, basketball, baseball, and track.

Williams was born Oct. 13, 1964, to Lloyd and Lois Williams in Goliad.

He is preceded in death by his father.

Survivor’s include his mother of Karnes City, wife, Shirley Frazier of Refugio; one daughter, Christen Williams of Kenedy; two step-sons, Jeffery Frazier and Jeremy Frazier, both of Refugio; two sisters, Christine “Dee” Battles of Corpus Christi, and Cierria Williams of Cuero; three brothers, Cassius Williams of Karnes City, Lloyd Moss “Super” of Cuero, Terrance Moss, of Royce City; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were conducted Monday, Dec. 13, at 1 p.m. at Prospect Missionary Baptist Church in Karnes City, with the Rev. Dr. Jerry Bryant Jr. presiding.

Pallbearers were Michael Brown, Bennie Evans, Richard Foley, Benny Green, Lester Linney, Ronnie Kinney, Wade Real, Pablo Ybarra.

Honorary Pallbearers were Jerome Battles, Lamar Brooks, Robert Brooks, Charlie Foley, Jeffrey Frazier, Jeremy Frazier, Cylde Linney, Danny Morales, Ramiro Sanchez, Steve Wishort.
