Local students named to Texas A&M University Dean’s List

William Jacob Cobb, of Refugio is listed on the Texas A&M University dean’s honor roll for the fall semester.

He is pursing a degree in biomedical science.

Amy E. Burns, and Brittney R. Gumm, both of Refugio, are named to the distinguished student list.

Burns is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in science in interdisciplinary studies. Gumm is pursing a bachelor’s degree in biomedical science.

The dean’s honor roll recognizes students taking at least 15 semester hours during the fall semester who have maintained a 3.75 or higher grade point average out of a possible 4.0.

Distinguished student recognizes those students who earned a 3.5 to 3.74 grade point average while taking at least 15 hours for the fall semester.
