BALL (Be Active, Live Longer) met Friday, March 4, at the First United Methodist Church for its monthly covered luncheon. The table decorations went all-out for St. Patrick’s Day, down to table yellow tablecloths and yellow daisies with a green shamrock centerpieces. Nyla Irwin and Jane Cecil provided the decorations.

Tiffany Morrison from Girling Health Center in Victoria provided valuable information on the services provided by this health center, plus suggestions on how to prevent a person from falling. Medicare will pay 100 percent for the services that it offers.

Verma Ford was the lucky recipient of the door prize, which was provided by Mary Cornelius.

Come join the next meeting on April 1, when Patty Young from the Coastal Bend Wildlife Photo Contest will share photos with BALL from previous contest entries and will explain the rules and regulations for entering the event.
