Karnes City High School freshman Philip Vaughan will head to the Region IV Tennis Tournament next week after winning the silver medal in boys’ singles at last week’s District 28-2A Tennis Tournament.
Vaughan dispatched a senior on his way to the title match against defending state bronze medallist Ryan Burdick of Navarro.
