Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Mesiroff

Jenna Clendennen and Joseph Mesiroff, both of Katy, were united in marriage at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 15, 2011, at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church. The Rev. Father Philip J. Panackal performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of John and Cindy Clendennen of Refugio. The groom is the son of Jo Anne Cummings of Austin and the late Aaron Mesiroff, formerly of Rusk.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose a strapless, beaded A-line, ivory gown with a chapel-length train.

The gown was adorned with a Capri-colored satin sash. The bride wore a matching ivory-lace bolero jacket and brown cowboy boots with ivory embroidery.

Her elbow-length veil featured pearls, beads and sequins on the edge of one tier.

The bride carried a bouquet of blue hydrangeas.

Shanna Bass of Spicewood served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Stacy Lampert of Katy and Frances Vasquez of Baytown. Ava Lampert of Katy served as flower girl

The attendants wore tea-length Capri-colored cotton dresses with a Y-neck and pleated skirts.

Each attendant also wore cowboy boots. They carried bouquets of blue hydrangeas and a calla lily.

John Mesiroff of Spicewood served as the best man. Steve Borowitz of League City and James Mitchell of Houston served as groomsmen.

Thor Bass of Spicewood served as ring bearer.

Users were Tim Cone, Eric Bass and Will Lampert.

Suzi Ragle played wedding selections on the organ.

A reception was conducted at Padilla Hall in Refugio.

The bride graduated University of Houston Cullen College of Engineering in 2005 with a mechanical engineering degree and works for dii Industrial Services in Alvin.
