The renovated stadium will feature a new restroom/concession stand facility which will include a family restroom with baby changing station. The old restrooms and concession stands were demolished over the Christmas break. Three Rivers Superintendent Kenneth Rohrbach said, “The projected completion date for the project is Aug. 1.”
This portion of the construction project was financed with fund balance money that was designated for construction. It was not part of the $11,185,000 school bond passed by voters in November.
The home bleachers will be renovated to comply with ADA requirements and will include handrails, ramps and wheelchair spaces with companion seating. The visitor side bleachers will also be modified to comply with ADA requirements and additional seating added.
A sidewalk will connect the home side of the stadium with the visitor side. New fencing around the track and around the stadium will complete the project.
