Ranch House Tour set Saturday in George West

Only three days remain until the Unify to Beautify Ranch House Tour on Saturday, May 7, from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Don’t forget to buy your ticket for the fun-filled day of traveling around George West and exploring the five gorgeous ranch homes that will open for visits.

Tickets are available at the George West Chamber of Commerce - 449-2033, Desert Flower Realty - 449-2051, This N That Cleaners - 449-1811, and Expressions in Hair - 449-2234. Tickets will also be available on Saturday, May 7, the day of the tour, at the George West Chamber of Commerce from 9:30 a.m. - 2 p.m., where refreshments will be served.

Five homes will be on the tour including JHA Ranch, owned by Jerry and Jane Anderson, on 281, two miles south of George West, previously owned by West Ward Jr.

The Encino Grande, owned by Pat and Phil Denniston, is on CR146W, three miles south of George West off Hwy. 281. This 7,000 sq. ft. home has spectacular architectural features and a large man-made lake.

The Bennett Ranch, owned by David and Alexis Bennett is on Hwy. 281, 2 miles north of George West.

The Green Jay Lodge, owned by Al and Kat Bisbey, is in Clegg, 13 miles from Hwy. 281 on FM624. Going west, turn right on FM1359 and right on CR161 for three miles.

The Sick Dog Ranch, owned by Mitchell, Diane, and Michael Dale is 29 miles south of George West on CR 239 off of Hwy. 281. This home was showcased in the Corpus Christi Caller Times and is fabulous.

Tickets will be on sale for all the homes Saturday, the day of the tour.
