The exhibition is the University Galleries’ summer fund-raiser and will be on display through Saturday, July 2. The exhibition will showcase work by TAMU-CC faculty, students, alumni and local artists created with or inspired by items located in any dollar store. All proceeds will benefit the participating artists and the Department of Art’s Visiting Artists Fund.
The reception is free and open to the public. Islander Art Gallery hours are Wednesday through Saturday from noon to 6 p.m.
