TAMU-CC holds summer art classes

The Department of Art at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi will hold its 2011 Summer Art Institute for high school students interested in fine arts on Monday, June 13, through Thursday, June 16, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Center for the Arts.

Participants will be given the opportunity to work in the Art Department studios, utilizing the same materials and facilities as current University attendees. Disciplines to be covered include ceramics, sculpture, printmaking and painting. The institute will be taught by university graduate students and faculty.
