Rosie Trevino Borden and Gerald Stanley Wysocki, both formerly of Woodsboro, were united in marriage on May 28, 2011, at 5 p.m. at the Faith United Church in Woodsboro.

The bride is the daughter of Richard Trevino of Cuero and the late Helen Trevino, formerly of Woodsboro. The groom is the son of Grace Stearns of Mt. Clemens, Mich. and the late Gerald Stanley Wysocki Sr.

Given in marriage by her sons, Richard and James Trevino, the bride entered to “Canon in D,” played on guitar by the Fierova family of Woodsboro.

Serving as matron of honor was the daughter of the bride, Sarah Borden-Norris of Spring. The bride’s granddaughter, Emilie Elena Norris, served as flower girl.

The best man was Paul Wysocki of Spring, brother of the groom. The bride’s grandson, Samuel Trenton Parker Norris of Spring, served as ring bearers.

Ushers were James Trevino and Jacob Norris, the bride’s son and son-in-law.

The reception was held immediately after the ceremony at the Refugio Expo Center, where the bride and groom shared their first dance to “At Last” by Etta James.

The couple enjoyed a short trip to the Texas Hill Country and are planning a delayed honeymoon trip to Scotland sometime next year.

The couple will reside in Woodsboro.
