Betty June Tuttle, 79, of Woodsboro died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2009. She was a civil service secretary.

She was born Nov. 6 1929, in Bowie.

Survivors include one daughter, Wren Tuttle of Victoria; two sons and their wives, Donald and Wanda Tuttle of Victoria, and Stanley and Sheila Tuttle of Woodsboro; four grandchildren, Donald Tuttle II, Elizabeth Tuttle, Cody Tuttle and Matthew Tuttle; and one great-grandchild, Blake Scheffer.

Visitation was held Monday, Jan. 12, from 6-8 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home Chapel.

Grave side services were conducted on Tuesday, Jan. 13, at 5 p.m., at LaRosa Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Charlie Tuttle, Elizabeth Tuttle, Cody Tuttle, Matthew Tuttle, Frank Flores and Bryan Schimer.

Honorary pallbearer was Ryan Scheffer.

Memorials may be made to Faith United Church in Woodsboro or the Leukemia Foundation.

Hello everyone. I remember Mrs Tuttle very well. She was my kindergarten teacher at her home. I grew up and weht to school with Wren Tuttle. I am very sorry to hear about your loss, and my prayers are with you and yours. My e-mail address is let me know how you all are doing.
