He was born to Charles T. and Mary Jane Kirkland Galloway on July 29, 1938, in Beeville, Texas. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Houston, Texas.
He is survived by his brother, John W. Galloway and wife Elizabeth of Beeville, Texas; nephews, Wil Galloway and wife Terry of Austin, Texas, Andy Galloway and wife Nicole of Decatur, Texas, and niece, Mary Beth Atzenhoffer and husband Steve of Orange Grove, Texas; twelve great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 27, 2011, at Galloway & Sons Chapel in Beeville, Texas. Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 28, 2011, at First United Methodist in Beeville, Texas. Interment followed at Beeville Memorial Park.
