IBCA cookoff, dance, dinner set for Sept.

The Haybarn will conduct its third annual barbecue benefit/cook-off on Friday, and Saturday, Sept. 2-3. The cook-off is sanctioned by the IBCA.

On Friday, Sept. 2, a free dance will get underway with No Vacancy performing from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m. and barbecue plates will be served from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Jackpots will be held in Margaritas, hot sauce/salsa. Other entertainment includes a live, auction, adult beverage wagon drawing and margarita basket raffle.

“Operation Noel for the Needy has brought Christmas to underprivileged children in the tri-county area for many years,” said Vee Clayton, organizer. “Please help us continue the Mission of David Loosemore and provide children with a gift for Christmas.”
