Robert Rocha was transferred to a Spohn Memorial Hospital for head injuries. Rocha suffered non life-threatening injuries and has since been released from the hospital.
Deputies at the scene reported fuel and salt water was leaking from the Basic Energy truck. Another Basic truck was dispatched to the wreck to transfer the salt water.
The tractor was reported to be upside down with the rear tandem blown out. The vacuum tanker was on its side with the axles intact.
Allen’s Wrecker Service out of Victoria dispatched two wreckers to the scene and FM774 was cleared in approximately four hours.
