Scouts compete in Rain Gutter Regatta

WOODSBORO – Cub Scout Pack 188 held their annual Rain Gutter Regatta on Sunday Sept. 25 at the Square in Woodsboro.

More than 20 scouts participated, along with the leaders and family who cheered them on.

The boys were reacquired to build their own boats for the race.

The afternoon kicked off with raising the American Flag and the Pledge of Allegiance before the races.

Hotdogs and refreshments were served.

“The boys had a blast,” said Tommy Flores, leader.

Winners of the race include Trenton Payne, first; Kalob Jochetz, second; and Evan Blaker, third.
