WOODSBORO – Lois Marie Wiginton, 72, died Wednesday, Sept. 28. She was a homemaker and a member of Faith United Church, Lions Club and Rotary Club.

She was born in Wakefield, Kan. on Dec. 24, 1938, to Ernest C. and Elsie Erickson Seitz.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Lee Wiginton.

Survivors include her daughter Sharon and her husband Allan Shannon; three sons and their wives, Johnny and Marsha Wiginton, Ernie and Janie Wiginton and Sheldon and Sylvia Wiginton, all of Woodsboro; one brother, Duane and his wife, JoEllen Seitz of Indiana; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held Sunday, Oct. 3, from 6-8 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services were conducted Monday, Oct. 3, at 10 a.m.

Burial was in LaRosa Cemetery in Woodsboro.

Pallbearers were Bubba Wiginton, Shorty Wiginton, Ronnie Wiginton, Jack Wiginton, Jody Wiginton, Allan Henkhaus, and Irvin Lewis.

Honorary pallbearers were Nancy Lamprecht, Hospice of South Texas, JoBeth Whitlow, Becky Martinez, Linda Villareal, Eva Lopez, Dr. Meyer, and Larry Green.
