The Beeville Garden Club met Tuesday in the First National Bank’s Community Room to hear a program on seed propagation, presented by Susan Fields, the Garden Club’s president, and on plant propagation, presented by longtime member and master gardener Patty Alexander.

Both members are skilled in gardening techniques and presented useful ways to create additional plants for a garden.

The meeting’s hostesses were Fields, Jan McGuffin, Teresa Holland, Andrea Gibbud, Sandra Herrera and Kathy Peters.

The upcoming Veterans Day ceremony on Nov. 11, at 11 a.m. at the Veterans’ Wall at the A.C. Jones Veterans Memorial Stadium, was the main item on the agenda. Also discussed was the two-day trip to San Antonio to the Fall Convention, the approaching zone meeting in November, and the big Dec. 1 silent auction and bake sale to be held at the Beeville Community Center.
