Feast for Humanity set Nov. 19

REFUGIO — Refugio’s Feast for Humanity is set for Saturday, Nov. 19.

Meals will be delivered to residents 65 years old, retired, handicapped, bedridden, or homebound.

This year only delivery will be available and there will be no dine-in or take out.

To make arrangements for delivery please call the city hall at 526-5361.

This week, Mayor Ray Jaso announced the items still needed.

Residents are asked to donate 10 gals cut green beans; 10 gals whole kernel corn; 10 gals candied yams; 1 case (24) jellied cranberry sauce; 400 9” sectional carry-out plates; 400 set-ups (forks, spoons, knives); 400 napkins; one large foil (Sam’s club) and 3 boxes of gloves.
