REFUGIO — Organizers at the Refugio County Jamboree have packed an all-star lineup into this month’s show on Thursday, Dec. 20, from 7:30 to 10 p.m. at the Refugio County Community Center. Admission is $5 a person.

Jo Ann Hickman a Winter Texan; Ronnie Murray of Mathis; Roy Irwin of Portland; Harvey Bailey of Victoria; Lost, but Found-Gospel group; will join The Jamboree Band.

“Roy Irwin, a veteran country musician from Portland, has a pure clear quality voice,” said Rick Faircloth, organizer. “His professionalism comes from years of experience in the music business. He is a great singer and performer, and we’re proud to have him come to the Refugio County Jamboree stage.”

“I had the chance to see Ronnie Murray perform at the Western Palms in Corpus Christi several years ago as a professional entertainer,” said Faircloth. “He is an excellent performer.”

The show also features the Jamboree Band, a seven piece group that is loaded with experience.

The band leader and drummer, Rick Faircloth, of Yoakum and formerly of Victoria, has over 40 years in the music business. The last 30 years Faircloth served as leader of “The Whisky River Band.”
