VICTORIA — Corinne Charleston Lewis, 89, of Victoria, died Friday, Jan. 6, 2012. She was retired and a Pentecostal.

She was born July 5, 1922, in Kamey to Charlie and Effie Murray Charleston.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy L. Lewis; daughter, Janice Haynes; and son, Harold Sims.

Survivors include five daughters, Brenda Franklin of Victoria, Jewel Sims of Houston, Shirley Sims of Minnesota, Rosemary Martin of Corpus Christi, and Karen Gerty of Corpus Christi; sons, Roy Lewis of Elkton, Md., and George Lewis of Victoria; sister, Bertha Allen of Refugio; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, Jan. 12, from 2 - 8 p.m. at Artero Memorial Chapels, Victoria. Visitation will resume on Friday, Jan. 13, at 11 a.m. at Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church, 704 E. Park, with funeral service beginning at 12 p.m. Pastor Michael Scott will officiate.

Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.

Niemann

DALLAS – Donald Niemann, 71, of Dallas, died Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012.

He was born Aug. 4, 1940, to Reinhold Henry (R.H.) and Tinnie Niemann of Woodsboro.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Cris Niemann; daughter, Natalie Niemann of Dallas; son, Mike Niemann of Houston; one sister, Marilyn James of Houston; three brothers, Wilson Niemann of Bandera, George Niemann and Delbert Niemann, both of Houston; one grandchild; two nephews; and five nieces.

Services will be conducted on Saturday, Jan. 14, at 10 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church in Woodsboro. Burial is in St. Bernard Cemetery in Woodsboro.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Peach Lutheran Church Memorial Fund. Moore Funeral Home is handling arrangements
