Mr. Nutt was born Aug. 8, 1949, in Beeville to Kenneth and Jane Nutt. He owned a lawn service in Port O’Connor and was a member of the Fisherman Chapel in Port O’Connor.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betsy Tiller Nutt; a son, Cody Wayne Nutt; and his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 11 years, Janice; a sister, Debbie (John) Linney of Skidmore; a brother, Terry (Mary) Nutt of Kingsville; a step-daughter; two step-sons; two step-grandchildren; and numerous nieces nephews and cousins.
A graveside service was held Friday, Jan. 20, at 2 p.m. at the Port O’Connor Cemetery.
