KENEDY — The Woodsboro Eagles baseball team won the consolation at the Kenedy Baseball Tournament over the weekend. Eagle J.T. Blaschke was chosen to the all-tournament team.

“The boys played very well and keep improving everyday,” Coach Gonzales said.“The Eagles travel to the Port Aransas Tournament this weekend. Good luck Eagles.”

After dropping its first game to Goliad, the Eagles went to work and handed Three Rivers a 9-6 loss.

In the consolation game, the Eagles beat Nixon- Smiley 16-7.
