REFUIGO – Diana Dora Jaso, 70, died March 7, 2012.

Diana was the Refugio High School Class of 1959 salutatorian. She graduated from Durham Business College in Corpus Christi and attended Del Mar College in her on-going education.

She was employed with Edwards, Perry, Haas Law Firm in the Oil and Gas Legal Department and later took the opportunity to work for Pennzoil, where she retired after many years of service.

She was born to Apolonio and Odilia Jaso in Refugio.

She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Rudy Jaso.

Survivor’s include three brothers and their spouses, Reynol and Lilly Jaso of Refugio, Hernan and Julie Jaso of Goliad and Jorge and Nena Jaso of Refugio; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A rosary was recited at Moore Funeral Home Chapel at 7 p.m. on Sunday, March 11.

Mass was celebrated at St. James Catholic Church on Monday, March 12, at 1 p.m.

Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Rey Jaso Jr, Roland Jaso, Ronnie Jaso, Ramsey Jaso, Randy Jaso, Robert Jaso, Celeste Jaso Gillespie and Katrina Jaso Alvarado.

Honorary pallbearers include Johnathon Jaso, Melanie Jaso, Meredith J. Luna, Rupert Jaso, Jaime Jaso, Emily J. Carter, Kailyn Jaso, grand-nephews and co-employees of Pennzoil.
