Coastal Bend Community Foundation awarded $7,500 to help operate the club.
Valero Refinery awarded $12,000 to be used for the general needs of the club.
Wilson said the money will be combined to make a nice play ground for the children.
The Eagle’s Nest is an after-school facility where children participate in activities and do homework in a supervised environment.
