He was born on March 29,1929, in Woodsboro to Canido and Nicolasa Porras.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Canido and Nicolasa Porras; three sisters, Celestina Avila, Petra Porras, and Gloria (Eugolio) Rodriguez; six brothers, Sylvestre Porras, Benito Porras, Jesus Porras, Viscente Porras, Tivo Porras, and Eduardo Porras.
Survivors include one sister, Lupe Porras of Woodsboro; and one brother, Severo Porras Sr and his wife Sofia of Woodsboro.
A rosary was recited at 7 p.m., Tuesday, May 8, at Moore Funeral Home Chapel.
