He is a 2009 graduate of Woodsboro High School.
Gonzales is currently stationed in Cherry Point, NC. as a Mals-14 Airframe Mechanic and is currently attending classes to receive Welding certification.
He has served one tour of duty in Afganistan. He is accompanied in North Carolina by his wife, Nicole and children James, Macie and Mikey, all formerly of Woodsboro.
Gonzales is the son of James and JoAnn Gonzales of Woodsboro.His grandparents are Lalo and Toni Soto of Woodsboro and Mary Gonzales of Archbold, Ohio.
