This exciting event is not only fun and educational — it is an important charitable event for the Beeville community and surrounding counties.
The organizers of this year’s event have selected “Family Centered Care at Christus Spohn Hospital Beeville” to be the recipient of the funds from Ladies Night Out. The complexities of a child’s illness impact the entire family — parents are eager to be with their sick little ones 24 hours a day.
Children are not small adults; they require their own child-sized equipment to meet their unique illnesses and challenges. Through sponsorship, a patient room will become child friendly with new paint, new furnishings and most importantly, will incorporate new medical equipment designed for children.
The goal is to purchase pediatric infusion pumps, child-size wheelchairs and sleeper chairs for parents to remain in their child’s room throughout the night. Being the health care provider for children is an awesome responsibility and the committee is looking for help to bring Family Centered Care to Christus Spohn Hospital Beeville.
Tickets for this year’s event will go on sale at the end of this week at Christus Spohn Hospital Beeville gift shop, Exclusive Home Health and Hospice, Wicker Basket and Bee County Chamber of Commerce.
