HOUSTON – Jesus Arzola, 78, of Houston and formerly of Woodsboro, died Sunday, June 3. He resided in Woodsboro until after he was honorable discharged from the Army. He moved to Houston and worked in commercial and industrial construction until his retirement.

He was born on June 22, 1934, in Woodsboro to Rita Hernandez Arzola and Julio Arzola.

Survivors include three daughters, Sonia Ray and her husband Tom, Becky Gonzales, Norma Alcala and her husband Oscar; one son Orlando Arzola and his wife Celina; six sisters, Dolores Cantu, Lupe Elizalde, Virginia Vega, Angelita Rodriguez, Mary Helen Lee and Mary Avila; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Private grave-side services were conducted
